On my return to school today I was greeted with the news that I missed a terrific show yesterday. Apparently the expressions of delight and joy on the faces of our youngest children captivated the teachers as much as the action.

You will be pleased to know that plenty of art work, design and technology is going on today as a follow-up to your visit. We will recommend your work to our colleagues in the town and country.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for a very successful day, and I am sure that this is something which the children will remember for some time to come. I know from feedback from parents that many of them spoke of little else all weekend.

I have just collected the photographs that were taken the day you came to Rushden school, they have reminded me just how wonderful the costumes and make up were.

Apart from being great fun, which I am sure is rewarding enough in itself, your workshops and performance contributed significantly to our provision for the spiritual and cultural development of the children. This was a truly outstanding day in all respects.
